Our degree covers a balanced curriculum between the different business disciplines, supported by the development of applied business skills and an understanding of the business world. The Cities of Chester and Warrington and their surrounding areas are rapidly developing business centres which have attracted both major national and international companies.

Our Business degrees take into account the latest business developments and are designed to allow flexibility and choice. Students can follow a broad business course or tailor their studies towards particular interests.

 

Features:

  • Single Honours students have the option to undertake a year's paid work placement in industry. This will take place between the second and final year.
  • We have strong links with Chester and Warrington's growing business communities, which both enhances the relevance of this degree and helps our students to find professional work-based placements.

Assessment is through a combination of assignments, examinations, group and individual projects, presentations and seminar contributions.

Chester Business School graduates have gone on to work for a wide range of private and public sector industries. Their jobs within these industries are equally varied and include:

  • European Sales Manager
  • Sales and Marketing Manager
  • Public Relations Officer
  • Events Coordinator
  • Stock Controller
  • Recruitment Consultant

Some graduates have also decided to stay at Chester and go on to study on our range of Masters level programmes, for example the MSc Management and the MBA.
