Why study this course?

Marketing is at the centre of the modern business organisation and a career in Marketing provides a wide range of employment opportunities. The Marketing degrees at Chester are designed to bring together traditional theories of Marketing Management with new thinking.

Features:

Single Honours students have the option to undertake a year's paid work placement in industry. This will take place between the second and final year.

The Marketing degree framework offers vocational and theoretical development, providing a range of marketing topics which will enable you to tailor your studies towards your particular academic interests or career aspirations.

The programmes have been designed to align with the requirements of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the UK’s professional body for the profession. Students completing the programmes will gain significant accreditation for the CIM’s professional qualifications. For the single honours programme we offer a Dual Award. This means that students successfully completing the single honours degree, will only need to complete two modules out of twelve with CIM to attain a postgraduate diploma in marketing. Those studying combined honours, will gain entry points to Diploma Level, this means that out of twelve modules students will only have to complete four CIM modules to attain a professional qualification.
