Features:   

  • Single Honours students have the option to undertake a year's paid work placement in industry. This will take place between the second and final year.
  • The framework of our tourism degrees has been specifically designed to encourage flexibility and choice, giving students the opportunity to follow a broad, general tourism course, a specific tourism management course, or to tailor their studies towards their particular academic interests or career aspirations.

Assessment is through a combination of assignments, examinations, group and individual projects, presentations and seminar contributions.

Chester Business School Tourism graduates have gone on to work for a wide range of organisations.

Some graduates have also decided to stay at Chester and go on to study on our range of masters level programmes, for example the MSc Management (Tourism Management) and the MBA.

Single and Combined Honours

 

UCAS: For
Single/Combined Honours:
A minimum of 240-280 UCAS points from GCE A Levels or equivalent
BTEC:     BTEC National Diploma/Certificate: merit/distinction profile
Irish/Scottish: B in 4 subjects 
International Baccalaureate: 26 points
QAA: QAA recognised Access to HE Diploma, Open College Units or Open University Credits
OCR: OCR National Extended/Diploma: merit/distinction profile
Extra Information:

The Advanced Diploma: acceptable on its own

Welsh Baccalaureate (core) will be recognised in our tariff offer.
