If you would like to see examples of student accommodation on the Open Day, the following options are available for viewing throughout the day.
- Hollybank Court - self catered residence (number 21 on your campus map)
- Astbury/Fisher House - full board residence (number 22 on your campus map)
- Church College Close - self catered residence (number 23 on your campus map)
- John Douglas Court - semi-catered residence (number 24 on your campus map)
Hollybank CourtBuilt in 2005, Hollybank Court is located opposite the entrance to the Chester Campus and has 50 study bedrooms split between three blocks. All bedrooms are equipped with en-suite facilities and students have access to fully equipped kitchens which are shared between approximately six students |

Astbury HouseAstbury house is an example of fully-catered accommodation. Fully-catered residences are mainly on campus and range from Victorian houses to purpose-built units. Astbury and Fisher are the largest halls of residence owned by the University, housing up to 85 first year students split over three floors in each block. Each room is equipped with en-suite facilities and some of the rooms have been adapted to accommodate wheelchair users. Students have access to a large common area and kitchen areas on each floor, equipped with facilities to make hot drinks and snacks. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals are provided each day in the appropriate dining room. |
Church College CloseRefurbished for the 2008/2009 academic year, Church College Close is an example of self-catered student acoomodation owned by the University. The majority of self catered residences are on, or very close to, the campus. Church College Close is made up of 14 self contained houses offering accommodation for 84 first year students. Each house accommodates six students in single standard rooms, with a washbasin in each room. Each house is equipped with two shower rooms, a full fitted kitchen and communal area. |

John Douglas CourtJohn Douglas Court is an example of semi-catered accommodation owned by the University. The majority of semi-catered residences are either on the border of the Chester Campus or just a short walk away. Semi-catered accommodation blocks provide lunch and evening meals in the appropriate dining room from Monday to Friday during term time. John Douglas Court is a residence for 29 students. John Douglas Court is for first year students only and also has a small number of self catered rooms. Each resident has access to a shared bathroom, kitchen and communal area. |

If you would like to view the above mentioned accommodation on the Open Day, the residents will be more than happy to show you around. Please feel free to knock on their door any time between 10:00 and 15:00. Use the campus map to find these residences.

If you would like to find out more about our accommodation, advice and guidance sessions are taking place at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 13:30 and 14:30 in Molloy Hall.
