Dr Paul Cowley
Senior Lecturer in ManagementPaul is a Senior Lecturer in Management. Prior to this post, Paul has worked in higher education since 2008 in a range of roles across several different universities. Before his career in education, Paul spent several years working for a number of organisations across both the public and private sectors. Paul holds both a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and a Master's Degree in Business and Commercial Law, as well as a PGCE in Business Education. Additionally, Paul holds a Professional Doctorate which was completed through the use of Activity Theory as a tool for examining the professional socialisation of former industry practitioners entering academia to start employment.
Paul teaches across a number of people management-related topics and supervises dissertation projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Additionally, Paul is interested in supervising Doctoral students who are undertaking research in an area which relates to one of his research interests.
