I worked in the banking sector for over 20 years holding executive and senior management appointments including MD of a Consumer Cards & Loans Division of a new start-up bank in Dublin.
I established Global Credit Card Consulting Ltd and operated as a consultant/interim manager to the banking industry for a further 12 years.
I left school with one A level but returned to University in 2009 to undertake a 2 year part-time MBA degree that I obtained with a distinction.
I subsequently went on to undertake a PhD at University of Chester on exploring UK consumer perceptions of mobile payments and successfully passed my Viva in April 2016. As a result, I am now making the necessary amendments to my thesis over the next 6 months before submitting and graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy.
I am Chair of Willaston Residents’ & Countryside Society and Chair of Friends of Hadlow Road Station on the Wirral.
Undergraduate & Postgraduate lecturing across all 3 campuses at Warrington, Chester & Shrewsbury specialising in Business Management, Innovation & Technology Management and Banking.
In addition, I have also successfully undertaken undergraduate and Masters student supervision.
