BA Hons, MA

I have various roles at Chester: I teach on the undergraduate and postgraduate provision, I am responsible for Erasmus exchanges and I am involved in outreach activities. As a lecturer, I particularly enjoy teaching on a variety of modules such as European Studies, European Cinema and German which I teach from beginners to postgraduate level. As the Erasmus Co-ordinator for the institution, I focus particularly on the academic and personal development of students during their time abroad. In my undergraduate teaching I am very interested in the transition from being a pupil to becoming a student.

Heidi teaches on the undergraduate German programme and the undergraduate and post-graduate European programme.

Her scholarly activities concentrate on contemporary issues in Europe and Germany, and on German language acquisition at A Level.
