Foundation Degree Programmes

The Faculty of Education and Children's Services has been been  engaged with Foundation Degrees since they were first proposed.

Foundation degrees are equivalent to the first two levels of degree study.

They are qualifications designed with employers which combine academic study with workplace learning to equip people with the relevant knowledge, understanding and skills to improve professional performance.

They provide the opportunity to undertake degree level study related to a professional role while continuing to work.

The Sector Endorsed Foundation Degrees for Teaching Assistance and Early Years Practice are now delivered by our FE College Partners

The University also offers a part time degree programme at Warrington and Chester - BA (Hons) Childhood and Youth Professional Studies.
