Freedom of Information

Adopting a publication scheme is a requirement of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000, which came fully into force on 1st January 2005. A publication scheme identifies the types of information that a public authority should make routinely available.

Fee: In general publications included in this scheme are free of charge however, the University of Chester may make a charge for information that is provided. If a charge is applicable, it will be specified at the time of the request and will be payable in advance of the information being provided. Charges will be in line with guidance published by the Department for Constitutional Affairs.
