Elaine Benson (BSc Psychology)

My name is Elaine, I am 41 years of age, a mother of two and I have studied a Psychology degree at Chester. The University offer facilities that are particularly suited for mature students like me.

The support for mature students is excellent and I have made good use of it throughout my years at the University. If you have any problems there is always someone to help you, particularly the Student Welfare team with friendly staff that help mature students through this pathway of educational studies. As I was older than the rest of the students I worried about the added difficulties I may face; however, you will find that you will make friends that you will stay in touch with, even when the degree is completed.

I myself am glad I chose University of Chester as it was the best move I have ever made.
