Biography

Paul is an IT professional and lecturer in Data Science who has been a member of the university since 2013. With a career encompassing a range of roles across academia, research, IT, and leadership, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his work. As the leader of the Data Science programme, Paul demonstrates his dedication to advancing the field and supporting the next generation of data scientists.

Teaching and Supervision

Paul is a lecturer in Data Science, specialising in areas such as statistical programming, data science principles, and machine learning. He has extensive teaching experience across a variety of programmes within the Computer Science department at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including Cyber Security, Software Engineering, and Computer Science. In addition to his academic role, Paul actively participates in the STEM Outreach Programme, which provides school students with hands-on opportunities to explore the work of engineers and scientists through practical applications and problem-solving activities.
