About us - Warrington School of Management (WSM)
Set in thriving North Cheshire, and conveniently placed close to the M62 and M6 motorway network, the Warrington School of Management (WSM) is based at the University of Chester’s Warrington Campus situated in the Fearnhead area of Warrington.
As part of the University’s Faculty of Business and Management, WSM works closely with Chester Business School, and offers both vocational and academic provision to the surrounding business and local communities as well as a diverse international student and professional clientele.
The University of Chester (founded in 1839) has provided Public and Private Sector vocational qualifications from this campus for over a decade now with a key focus being on professional provision such as,
- Business, Social Care, Policing, Nursing, Health Care, Journalism and Education.
The Warrington Campus features a dynamic ‘creative industries’ hub with the state of the art North West Media Centre, as well as being home to the highly successful Warrington Wolves Sporting Academy.
The campus covers over 30 acres and is fully equipped with on-site accommodation, catering, sport and leisure facilities, and even boasts its own student run radio station!
Excellent motorway access makes travel to the cities of Manchester, Liverpool and Chester a quick and convenient extension of the campus experience.
