What does genuinely inclusive conservation and sustainability education look like in practice and where does it need to go next? This online panel brings together colleagues from the University, the school sector and Chester Zoo to explore how research, creative practice, community partnership and leadership are reshaping conservation and sustainability programmes.

The discussion includes a PhD researcher at Chester Zoo, a senior leader in education, a sustainability manager, a sustainability coordinator, as well as a PGCert alumna whose professional journey illustrates the diverse pathways and impact that emerge when conservation and sustainability education are taken seriously and creatively. Together, the panel will reflect on tensions, challenges and breakthrough ideas shaping the field and consider how inclusive approaches can move beyond aspiration into meaningful practice. This event is open to educators, practitioners, researchers and anyone interested in the future of conservation and sustainability engagement.
