"The MSc in Public Health Nutrition was rigorous, inspiring, and deeply rewarding, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to tackle real-world health challenges."

My year at the University of Chester as a fully funded Commonwealth Scholar has been truly life-changing. I would call it "Guided, Supported, Empowered, and Inspired: My Chester Journey". The MSc in Public Health Nutrition was rigorous, inspiring, and deeply rewarding, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to tackle real-world health challenges. The faculty’s mentorship was extraordinary; they supported me at every step, encouraged my ideas, and even guided me through conducting my dissertation remotely in Pakistan, making me feel empowered and valued despite the distance. Chester’s inclusive and caring environment, alongside its career guidance and extended accommodation support, allowed me to thrive academically and personally. What touched me most was seeing how the university actively contributes to addressing development and public health issues in developing countries, supporting scholars like me to apply our learning to create real-world impact. I leave Chester with profound gratitude, lifelong friendships, and a renewed passion to make meaningful contributions to public health nutrition and the communities that need it most.
