University of Chester shortlisted for six Whatuni Student Choice Awards

Now in their 13th year, the WUSCAs celebrate and amplify the student voice by drawing on more than 42,000 verified reviews gathered from over 85 university campuses across the UK. The reviews provide independent insight into the real student experience, offering institutions valuable feedback on what is working well and where improvements can be made.

The University of Chester has been recognised across the following categories:

• University of the Year  
• Lecturers and Teaching Quality  
• International 
• Postgraduate 
• Student Support 
• Halls and Student Accommodation

WUSCAs reviews capture authentic student perspectives across areas such as teaching quality, career prospects, student life and support services. The reviews themselves act as a trusted reference point for prospective students exploring their higher education options.

The University of Chester has been voted the North West’s University of the Year the past two years (2025 and 2024).

The winners of each category will be announced at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards ceremony on May 21, 2026.
