University psychology team discusses mental health in latest hit podcast episode

Released to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week between May 12-18, The Psychology Of...Mental Health podcast – hosted by senior lecturer Dr Clea Wright – focuses on different aspects of mental health, including identifying positive and negative behaviours, when mental ill-health requires a form of therapy, and being grateful for acts of kindness.

Expert guests and fellow lecturers Dr Michelle Tytherleigh and Dr Kevin Hochard each provide their own perspectives on how mental health is approached, with Michelle informing listeners on positive psychology and Kevin identifying the differences between when someone is sad and when someone has clinical depression.

“With this week being mental Health Awareness Week, it felt appropriate to discuss an important topic and provide some general tips on psychological wellbeing.
