What is the International Student Barometer Survey?

The survey is the world’s largest international student survey conducted every year by Etio. The university takes part in this independent survey as part of its commitment to listening and responding to your student voice. In 2024, over 100,000 students participated in the International Student Barometer Survey globally.

At the University of Chester, we use the feedback we receive to make informed decisions that allow us to enhance the international student experience.

International Student Barometer 2025

All international students will receive an individual invitation via email on Monday 17th November 2025. Participation in the survey is anonymous.

This survey gives you the opportunity to share your experience as an international student at the University of Chester. The survey will ask you about key aspects of your student journey so far, including your arrival at the University, your course, your accommodation, and the University's support services.

Once you complete the survey, you will be entered into a competition to win one of five £50 shopping vouchers. You can use these vouchers in a wide range of shops and online.

This is the fourth year of participating in this survey, and we look forward to hearing about your time at the University.
