Parents and Supporters of Offer Holders

Has your student already received an offer?
Congratulations — this is a big milestone! Now comes the exciting part: preparing for university life. We’re here to make the transition as smooth as possible for both of you.
Here’s what you can do now:

1. Visit Our Applicant Hub
Here you’ll find everything you need to navigate the next steps in your loved one's application and get excited for them as they start their university journey.
2. Visit Us
By visiting us, you get to explore the University, meet current students and academic staff, view where students will be studying, visit accommodation (if applicable) and get your questions answered by our knowledgeable staff in support areas. We host a range of events for our Offer Holders over several dates every spring, but there is plenty of other opportunities to Visit Us throughout the year.
3. Help Make Decisions about Travel, Accommodation or Commuting
We understand that moving or travelling to and from university can be the biggest change, and we want to make it as easy as possible. Explore our University and partnership accommodation and find out how to apply. We also have information about commuting and travel in and around Chester.
4. Finance and Funding
Our Fees and Finance page is where you'll find all the information you need about funding university studies. It includes information on undergraduate loans, bursaries and scholarships, and support for your circumstances.
5. Encourage Them to Get Involved
We’ll send an email to your student once they’ve accepted their offer with information on how to join our secure, online community, and they can meet with like-minded Offer Holders who have applied for the same course, are applying to live in the same accommodation or even have the same interests. It’s a great way to make connections before they start at university.
6. Find Out How We Support Wellbeing
We’re proud to say we have an award-winning Student Support team, so you can rest assured that your loved one has access to services as soon as they start their university life.
