Applicants can also demonstrate commitment through personal life experience relating to social care issues/contexts, for example as a family carer. |
Interview | All candidates will be required to attend an interview. This will comprise of a 1:1 interview with a member of the course team, including a short pre-prepared presentation by the candidate, and a group activity facilitated by a person with lived experience. Both components must passed for the candidate to progress to offer. |

IELTS | Non-UK applicants without an equivalent English qualification will be asked to undertake the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) assessment. Applicants will need to obtain an overall IELTs score of 7.0. |
Other Language Proficiency Qualification | Alternative qualifications include: OET – 2 scores B, 2 scores C+, PTE Academic (not online) – 70 overall with no less than 65 in each band, Integrated Skills in English – ISE 111 with Merit in all components, Language Cert SELT – C1 Expert Pass minimum 33 in each component, Skills for English UKVI English Language Level Test – C1 Pass, TEOFL IBT (not online/at home) – Overall 100 (22 Reading, 22 Listening, 24 Speaking, 24 Writing). |
