All our students conduct industrial placements with our partner companies where you will be encouraged to work collaboratively on projects with cross-disciplinary groups of scientists and engineers, and you will be able to put everything you learn into practice.

Based at our Exton Park site, you can enjoy working alongside fellow students, academic researchers and commercial enterprises in continuing the legacy of innovation in the North West. As a student, you’ll have access to a range of technical resources, professional modelling software, and access to the Faculty’s supercomputing cluster. 

With a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory skills, we want to enable you to translate science into solutions to real-world problems, and prepare you for your future professional career.
