Whether you have just graduated, or you are further along on your alumni journey, the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO) is here to support you. We keep you connected to the University, and your fellow alumni, via our exciting programmes, events and networking opportunities.

Graduation

Graduation ceremonies will take place on the following dates:

Tuesday 17^th September: University Centre Shrewsbury graduands (award dates up to 1^st August 2024) in St Chad’s Church, Shrewsbury.
Tuesday 4^th – Friday 8^th November: All Chester graduands (award dates up to 9^th October 2024) in Chester Cathedral

The Alumni Book Club

Try something new today and connect with fellow alumni to read and discuss books. There is no cost to join, you just have to source a copy of the books. It is hosted online, so you can join in from anywhere.

One book will be read every two months, chosen by the members. If you have on average 30 minutes a week to read, you should be able to finish each book. There is no required level of participation in group discussions; so, if you don’t have time to read one of the books that okay.

If you would like to join the alumni book club, please email alumni@chester.ac.uk to register.

Please note, the alumni book club is taking a short break and will resume in Autumn.

Your Alumni Magazine

ACH1EVE is the official magazine for University of Chester graduates and alumni. To be notified each time the latest issue is published online, please register or update your details.

We are always on the look out for alumni who would like to contribute to the next issue of ACH1EVE. If you have a topic that you are a passionate about, would like to share a new project, or would like to write about your research, please email ACH1EVE@chester.ac.uk.

We also publish The Cestrian, our official donor update, in the autumn. This contains Year Notes, tributes to past Cestrians and archive updates. If you are College era alumni and would like to subscribe, please email thecestrian@chester.ac.uk.

We are happy to provide the information in these documents in alternative formats on request.
