Abdullah Nawafleh

I am a Senior Lecturer in Law at Chester Law School. Prior to joining the University of Chester,  I was a Senior Lecturer in Law at Staffordshire University.  I worked as Legal Research Team Lead at CUBE Global, London, and Assistant Professor of Law at Al Ain University of Science and Technology. My research interest is in the area of private international law in civil and commercial matters.

I hold a PhD in Law from the University of Westminster (London), LLM in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Derby and a first degree in Law from the University of Amman.

I am currently working on a GCRF-funded project exploring the Impact of the Legal Environment on Refugee Entrepreneurs in Jordan. This project is in collaboration with Al-Balqa Applied University - Faculty of Law.

My research has been published in internationally leading journals and edited collections, and I have given presentations at academic conferences around the world. My research interest is in the area of private international law in civil and commercial matters.

As a Senior Lecturer in law I teach, supervise and support students across a range of modules. I am Module Leader for International Law at Level 5.
