School of Nursing and Midwifery

Our BSc Midwifery degree has recently been redesigned and revalidated by the NMC to ensure that you will receive the most up-to-date educational experience. This enables you to develop the skills, knowledge, and compassion that lies at the heart of contemporary Midwifery practice.

The course combines on-campus study where you will explore the underpinning theory of Midwifery and you will develop your skills in the safety of our state-of-the-art practice simulation suites. You will also experience supervised clinical placements with one of our local NHS Trust Partners.

We offer undergraduate degrees in all four fields of Nursing, including Adult, Mental Health, Learning Disability and Children’s Nursing, with Postgraduate options in Adult and Mental Health nursing.
