Andrew Firr

Andy is a Lecturer in Management and alumnus of University of Chester. He specialises in Entrepreneurship and Project Management and has a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence within academia. His teaching is focused on providing students with experiential learning experiences. His goal is to deliver academic and pastoral support to students in a way which is authentic and meaningful.

Andy has spent over a decade working with Universities all over the UK to develop entrepreneurship-based modules within a variety of academic disciplines including undergraduate and postgraduate level. He is an experienced project manager and educator working for one of the UK’s leading enterprise education charities Young Enterprise.

Andy has also represented Young Enterprise UK internationally and has sat on Junior Achievement European Start-Up Programme panels at enterprise education conferences in Liege, Helsinki, Riga, Oslo and Tallinn.

Andy holds a BEd (Hons) degree from University of Chester and a MSc degree in Business and Entrepreneurship from Edinburgh Napier University. He is also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (PGCTLHE) from the University of Chester.
