Expert appointed Visiting Professor to share insights in Festival of Ideas business talk

Professor Paul McGee, creator of the SUMO method, is a Sunday Times bestselling author who has delivered keynote presentations and masterclasses on how to survive and thrive in business, as well as how to develop personal skills, confidence, wellbeing and performance.

The SUMO (‘Shut Up, Move On’) series of books have sold over half a million copies worldwide, while Paul’s clients include Manchester City Football Club, Tesco, Harrods, The NHS and a number of charities.

Now Paul will be the keynote speaker at the Catalyst for Progress event at the Riverside Innovation Centre at the University of Chester’s Wheeler Campus off Castle Drive on Thursday, July 2.

The free event, which runs from 10am-2pm, will see Paul speak on ‘The SUMO Guide to Thriving in a Changing World’, while there will also be speed networking, employer meetups, and a panel. A free lunch will be provided, as well the opportunity to receive a free LinkedIn headshot.

Paul said: “I’m genuinely thrilled to receive this title of Visiting Professor and partner with the Business School at the University on how we can make academic insights beneficial to all businesses and their staff.”
