Find out how Luis is Chester Made.
What Made Chester So Special
My time at the University of Chester was one of the most enriching experiences of my life. As a Costa Rican student, I was inspired by the beauty of the city, the green landscapes, the organization of the country, and the warmth and support of both my professors and classmates.
Broadening My Perspective
Studying for my MBA exposed me to international business practices and first-world perspectives that significantly broadened my professional outlook. One of the highlights of my journey was my final graduation project, where I had the privilege of receiving outstanding guidance from my tutor, Luisa Rosado.
Meaningful Friendships
Beyond academics, my favourite memories are the adventures and friendships I shared, as well as the opportunity to connect with people from cultures and backgrounds so different from my own.
Personal Development
Living and studying in England transformed me not only professionally but personally. It encouraged me to rethink my life goals, embrace new possibilities, and understand that there is always something exciting waiting beyond our comfort zone.
Professional Development
My experience in Chester also shaped my professional mindset, teaching me the value of a disciplined, methodical approach to achieving goals – something I came to admire as part of the British way of doing things. I will always be grateful to the University of Chester for helping me grow as both a professional and a person.
