This page will provide you with all the information you need to join us from Sri Lanka. From country-specific entry requirements, application queries, local representatives, your student experience and much more, we’ll support you every step of the way!
Entry Requirements
General entry requirements for each level are provided below. Some programmes do also have additional course-specific requirements which can be found on the individual course pages. Please ensure you are able to fulfil the programme requirements and meet the academic standards expected before submitting an application.
Foundation Year
- Sri Lanka General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level with grades Credit Pass, Distinction, or High Pass.
Undergraduate Study
- Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education at 65% or above = Level 4 entry.
- National Diploma with good grades will be considered = Level 4 entry.
- HND with good grades may be considered = Level 6 entry.
Pre-Masters
- Degrees issued from 2010 we require successful completion recognised Bachelor degree with a minimum GPA of 2 or above.
- Degrees issued prior to 2010, we require overall 45% pass rate.
- A minimum of pass in Higher National Diploma - HND (Pearson, Excel). Refer to the management for non recognized HND qualifications + Relevant work experience
Postgraduate Study
- 2010 and after: Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor’s Degree with GPA of 2.8 or above.
- Before 2010: Bachelor’s Degree with an overall pass rate of 55% for regular postgraduate programmes.
English language entry requirements
Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate that they have an appropriate level of English language to be eligible to study one of our foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate courses. The level of English required depends on the course applied for.
