"The University of Chester stood out to me because of its beautiful location but also from the description of the Public Health Nutrition course."

The University of Chester stood out to me because of its beautiful location, but also from the description of the Public Health Nutrition course - my heart started to race and I knew that I could not ignore that feeling.

Arriving in Chester, I was warmly welcomed into a community full of life. From the lecturers being incredibly helpful and truly wanting the best out of their students to the friendly smiles of the natives of Chester, this city was an easy place of transition.

I was privileged enough to be given loans from the US government through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). These loans have ultimately allowed me to be able to attend the University of Chester and pursue my passion for learning.

The Public Health Nutrition course modules allow for a flexible schedule, but also lay the foundation for the independent learning that is required for succeeding on this course. I have found this approach of being a self-motivated learner to be much more beneficial to my learning style, and I can confidently say that I would not want to learn any other way.

The University of Chester’s Public Health Nutrition course has undoubtably given me the essential skills and knowledge that will allow me to succeed in my current role and in any position I come across in the future.
