Biography

Andy is a Lecturer in Management since August 2022 and MSc Engineering Management Programme Leader at University of Chester. He specialises in Entrepreneurship and Project Management and has a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence and Academic Integrity within academia. He has also taught on modules regarding Managing Innovation, Strategic Supply Chain Management and is currently developing a Level 7 module; Industrial Work Design and Organisation. His goal is to deliver academic and pastoral support to students in a way which is authentic and meaningful. Andy has spent over 15 years working with Universities all over the UK to develop entrepreneurship-based modules within a variety of academic disciplines including undergraduate and postgraduate level. He is an experienced project manager and educator working for one of the UK’s leading enterprise education charities Young Enterprise. Andy has also represented Young Enterprise UK internationally and has sat on Junior Achievement European Start-Up Programme panels at enterprise education conferences in Liege, Helsinki, Riga, Oslo and Tallinn. Andy holds a BEd (Hons) Degree and Post Graduate Higher Education Teaching Certificate (PGCTLHE) from University of Chester and a MSc Degree in Business and Entrepreneurship from Edinburgh Napier University. He also has FHEA status. Andy is currently working as the lead author with Dr Paul Forrester on a book chapter for publication 'Cases on Experiential Learning in Higher Education for Economic Innovation and Growth' IGI Global Scientific Publishing. This publication is anticipated to be released in 2026.
