Gym

Located on the ground floor of the Price Tower building at Exton Park, our gym is fully equipped to help reach your fitness goals.

Opening Times

  • Monday-Thursday: 08:00-22:00
  • Friday: 08:00-18:00
  • Saturday & Sunday: 10:00-16:00

Please note: The gym is closed on bank holidays and opening hours may be subject to change.

Swimming Pool

Located on the ground floor of the Price Tower building at Exton Park, our 25-metre swimming pool features five lanes and is available for recreational swimming and training.

Membership and Access

Swimming is included with gymCHESTER gym memberships. Alternatively, the following options are available:

  • Swim-only membership: £60 per year
  • Pay as you go: £5 per visit

Swimming Sessions

Casual swimming sessions are available Monday to Friday, 12pm–2pm, with no booking required.

Family Swim sessions are also available for students and staff with a gym or swimming membership to bring their children free of charge.

Please note: The pool is not suitable for children under five.

Fitness Classes

Looking to try something new or improve your fitness? Our fitness classes offer a range of activities suitable for all abilities.

Classes are free to university students and staff and must be booked in advance through Playwaze.

Sports Outdoor and Indoor

MUGA

Our Exton Park floodlit Multi-Use Games Area offers a diverse array of sports including football, rugby, American football.

Sports Hall

At Exton Park Campus – we offer a wide variety of sports, including badminton, volleyball, basketball, netball, table tennis, cricket and futsal.

Indoor netball

Astro

Our floodlit astro at Exton Park Campus provides space to enjoy sports such as hockey, lacrosse, rounders and softball.

Other

Practice your golfing skills with our SkyTrak Golf Simulator and enjoy a variety of golf courses from around the world or you can grab a racquet, serve, swing and smash your way on our badminton, squash and tennis courts.
