What is a Combined Honours degree?

A Combined Honours degree allows you to study two subjects as part of a single undergraduate course. Typically, you’ll divide your time between both subjects, gaining knowledge, practical skills and academic experience in each area.

This approach lets you explore connections between disciplines and develop a diverse skill set. Many students choose subjects that complement each other, while others enjoy combining different interests to create a more personalised degree experience.

At the University of Chester, Combined Honours courses are designed to help you build academic confidence, explore different perspectives and develop skills that are valued by employers.
