With a choice of reception and meeting rooms across our sites, we are able to provide a complete range of facilities to suit your individual requirements, be it for a small meeting or large exhibition.
What we can offer
Accommodation
We have accommodation available in a variety of different formats. With an option for self-catering or catered/B&B, individual and/or shared rooms, and en-suite or standard rooms.
Catering
Our sites provide a variety of catering packages in our modern dining rooms available for your conference or event in a number of different ways, from fully catered Gala Dinners, buffet lunches and also more casual options. Our team are happy to help with the many options available to you.
Excellent central location
Our sites provide easy access from motorway, rail and air links, yet just a few minutes' walk from Chester's attractive city centre, the University's secluded location means it is the perfect setting for discussion and debate, learning and relaxation, no matter what size of event you are planning. Ideally located to also enjoy regional attractions such as Chester Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium, Cheshire Oaks Designer Village, Jodrell Bank, Snowdonia and for more Explore the North West.
Pleasant and secure facilities
We wide range of facilities from small meeting rooms, boardrooms, specialist studios and laboratories, varying sizes of lecture theatres, sports facilities and much more which allow us to host a variety of events such as language schools and sports tournaments.
Exton Park has a wide range of sports facilities which can be used for sports clubs and coaching sessions. Our facilities include a brand new MUGA pitch, squash and tennis courts, Astroturf hockey pitch, a large sports hall, running track and a 25-metre five-lane swimming pool. Chester also boasts a state of the art fitness suite which is available on a pay as you go basis (joining fee applies). Details of our membership and pricing options are available from Exton Park reception. Facility booking and payments must be made through the Fitness Suite receptions, unless you are booking the pool at Exton Park which must be booked via the swimming pool office.
Meeting rooms
With nearly 200 meeting rooms we can provide a number of options to suit your individual conference requirements, rom lecture theatres seating 310 to rooms for one-to-one meetings. The maximum capacity of each room varies depending on the type of layout you need for your event. A range of AV equipment is available as standard and we will endeavour to meet any specific requirements you may have.
