I’m Amber, a third-year Media and Television Production student at the University of Chester, with a passion for pursuing a future career in Live Television. Although I initially didn’t want to come to university, I have since been exposed to a huge number of opportunities that have allowed me to expand my experience, develop my skills and discover my passion for the industry.
For over 10 years, I have been involved in amateur theatre productions, where I have been cast in a variety of roles and choreographed dance routines. I have also co-run a youth theatre workshop, helping to encourage young people to develop their confidence and creativity through performance. I am currently a Social Secretary at my local theatre and take huge pride in the events I have organised, including hosting my own “Open Mic Night”, which successfully brought the community together whilst also raising money for charity.
One of my favourite parts of hosting the podcast is the opportunity to meet new people and hear their stories. I particularly enjoy learning about a guest’s area of expertise and allowing them to educate me on topics that I may not have encountered before. I also value creating an environment where guests feel comfortable sharing their knowledge and experiences.
