Before you arrive
Before you arrive, there are a few essential things you must do to become a University of Chester student, including completing online enrolment, submitting your photograph and paying your fees.
Arrivals
We welcome students throughout the year. Below, you will find important details regarding your arrival, including when and where to collect your keys and student ID card and complete Stage 2 of enrolment.
After you arrive, it is essential to complete Stage 2 of enrolment and collect your student ID card. This is essential for finalising the enrolment process and officially registering at the University of Chester. Your student ID card provides access to various campus facilities, including the library, halls of residence, and more, and serves as proof of your student status.
For most students, Stage 2 of enrolment, along with the collection of keys and student ID cards, takes place during September Welcome Week. This week is scheduled for the week before your first day of term, allowing you ample time to complete enrolment, attend welcome sessions, and get to know other new students.
Residential Students
If you have secured a room in University-owned accommodation, you will receive an email from the Accommodation Office with instructions on selecting a timeslot to collect your keys on either Saturday 21st September, or Sunday 22nd September.
Please note that collecting your ID card is dependent on completing Stage 1 of online enrolment and submitting a photo. Please ensure these steps are completed before your arrival on campus.
