School of Allied and Public Health 

The Division of Allied Health is passionate about how the understanding and application of knowledge related to Dietetics, Nutrition, cardiovascular health, weight management and Art Therapy can improve the lives of individuals and communities. The staff draw on a breadth of skills from clinical practice, education, and research to ensure that students learn cutting-edge knowledge and leave university ready to move their field of practice forward. 

The Division of Public Health, Sports and Wellbeing embraces a diverse range of courses that collectively focus on the biomechanics of movement, the psychological motivation of individuals, the social determinants of behaviour, and the health of communities. The staff have expertise in professional practices related to public health and sports, as well as education and research. Students are supported to embrace learning that will not only enhance their development, but also the communities they move into after they complete their studies.
